Words by the author

Two thousand six hundred years from Archimedes, five hundred years from Leonardo da Vinci, at the gate of the third millennium, I, as a genuine bearer of the optimistic spirit, submit the proposals, developed in this book, to a humanity thirsty for progress. A humanity that now knows that its needs are covered by the intelligent technological production of our time.
As a person of communication and a lover of Cyberspace, after research in internet marketing, I know the necessities to which my suggestions give an answer. They are innovations adapted to the sensitivities of the modern public, but also extendable, so that they evolve in parallel with consumer trends [which, after all, interactive communication leads to absolute personalization]. At last we are entering the era of digital democracy, where masses and mass media will be a thing of the past. The person will gain at last the respect they deserves. They will not be driven and led by centers and generalizations, they will not blindly follow ideas and personalities, styles and fashions, which turn them into a statistical quotient.
Anyone will now be able to, whenever they want, become Homer, Phidias, Plato, Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Bach, Tolstoy, Picasso, Einstein, Freud and whatever they wish. A dream of centuries takes shape: For the embittered individual to stand up against the “geniuses”. At this point I must note that evolution today promotes creators [i.e. all of us] beyond Leonardo’s “non finito”. It requires clear implementations and not agonizing pursuits. Useful art and not dark creations without a tangible necessity.
With these thoughts, I deliver the innovations of this volume for the use of the most advanced audience in the History of Mankind.

This book will also be released on cd.

  1. I could have used one of those back in the 70s when I was building doors, cabinets and furniture. The distressed look was all the rage back then. Before I would stain and varnish projects, I beat them with a chain that had nuts, bolts, wires and whatever else would leave and interesting impression in the wood. A Spastik Art Paintbrush would have been perfect.

    1. Yes, I remember the “Distressed” look. Luckily, my hand-me-down furniture was naturally distressed, quite upset, in fact. Did you have to deal with Shabby Chic in the ’90s?

      1. Naturally distressed is preffereble, I has long out of the furniture making business in the ’90s. However, when we had to hire a lot of people and needed quick desks, I had 18-inch sono tubes (concrete forms) cut to the height of a two-drawer filling cabinet, bought hollow 32 inch wide hollow core doors, varnished the doors and set a sono tube under one end of a door and a file cabinet under the other end and had instant, inexpensive, Shabby Chic desks.

I built a lot of desks into the downtown office, mostly out of oak, but also white melamine over the years. When we moved to our new office last year, one of the managers said “No SONO TUBES!” She despised sono tube desks. But they went so well in the rundown Shabby Chic space we had upstairs. I moved a couple of the oak and melamine desks to the new office, but we mostly got new furnishings.

We managed to sneek a couple of sono tubes to the new office we use for recycling bins.

            1. Here’s what a sono tube looks like: https://wp.me/p1yQyy-63g. I don’t think I have photos of them under a door making a desk. All my desk photos are the ones I built to replace the sono tube desks.

            2. I remembered those but I was just wondering what they looked like in your office. 😉

            3. I need to dig around more. They made really functional desks.
