  1. This is a fun, beautiful eye-full of luscious curves and colors. The design is excellent, inviting and enjoyable. I would certainly pick it up and look at it if I were rummaging through a CD bin. It has an interesting collection of songs, also. Songs I wouldn’t think of putting together on a couple of CDs. Party ON!

    1. Ah, thank you, Tim! So glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, well, on those songs… they are more of a wedding compilation [mixed age audience] kind of choice. Something to please everyone. Not my choices. One of my worst nightmares is hearing the first notes of “It’s raining men” and the incomprehensible hysteria that follows! 😱 That said, some of those songs are [still] great!

      1. There are some great songs on there and some well, like you said. I was talking to my brother-in-law who plays bass. He mentioned that he’ll be playing a gig and they will be playing popular contemporary songs and it seems like no one is in the bar. But then someone will request Brown Eyed Girl, Proud Mary or La Bamba. He says they start playing one of those dusty old tunes, and people come out of the woodwork like cockroaches and fill the dance floor. Then they start the next contemporary song the people disappear. I was amazed. When I played in a couple of bands in the late 70’s we had to play Brown Eyed Girl, Proud Mary or La Bamba, and those were the songs that got everyone on the dance floor back then. Things never change.
