News titles design and studio creative art direction. A. Kanavakis was responsible for the creative production of the renewed image of the newscast for the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, including the idea of requesting Vangelis to compose the music for the titles. Unfortunately there is no archive of the titles, part of ERT’s ungratefulness. I hope some of the idea is visible from this video I discovered [The “Argiris Classic” obviously wasn’t part of it! 🙄]. • Σχεδιασμός τίτλων ειδήσεων και καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση για τη δημιουργία νέου στούντιο ειδήσεων. Ο Α. Καναβάκης ήταν υπεύθυνος για την παραγωγή της εικόνας του ανανεωμένου δελτίου ειδήσεων της Ελληνικής Ραδιοτηλεόρασης, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της ιδέας να ζητήσει από τον Βαγγέλη Παπαθανασίου να συνθέσει τη μουσική των τίτλων. Δυστυχώς δεν υπάρχει αρχείο των τίτλων, μέρος της αγνωμοσύνης της ΕΡΤ. Ελπίζω κάποια από την ιδέα να είναι ορατή από αυτό το βίντεο που ανακάλυψα [Προφανώς το “Argiris Classic” δεν αποτελεί μέρος του σήματος! 🙄].

I think I was 12 or 13 when we were all gathered around to see the debut of the news on tv with a new studio and titles! Quite a challenging task at the time! 😉 Hugs your way!!!! xoxoxo
