Thank you, my friend. So glad you like it! This was a book that got the author prison time, during dictatorship!

I was going to ask if such a book caused the author problems… I guess the answer is yes!

Considering it was early 70s and under a dictatorship with zero freedom of speech, it’s no wonder. He actually did time back then.

…and that was the book that just added more years of prison. The first one was “Rebetica: songs of the underworld”.

Awful to live in such a state. So glad those days are over.

Yes, they are… well, even if speech control is still alive and kicking. 😉

That’s serious. These days they would imprison the designer as well.

Yep… well, to this day, I have no idea how my father evaded imprisonment.
As I was saying to Dale, censorship today is probably worse. One has no clue where it’s coming from!

In a world full of perpetually offended people, censorship comes from all directions and from people who should have no say about anything you and I have to say, write, draw, paint, photograph or think. But they think their precious, weak and vulnerable sensibilities are above everyone else’s.

…the “perpetually offended people”, I know that kind! 😉

Someone put a bra on that creature! 😂😅
All kidding aside, it’s an intriguing cover.
Crazy that he went to jail.
Still, in the USA (land of FREE SPEECH) in the 60’s, Lenny Bruce went to jail over and over. He was legally tormented for using the word “fuck” in his comedy act.
Wherein does true freedom of speech lie?

Nowhere, I’m afraid…. no such thing and unfortunately, it’s not getting any better.
