Two brochures designed for the first Medical Laser Application Center in Athens. The logo for Laser Center was also designed by Anakreon Kanavakis. • Τα δύο έντυπα σχεδιάστηκαν για το πρώτο κέντρο ιατρικό κέντρο εφαρμογών laser στην Αθήνα. Το λογότυπο σχεδιάστηκε από τον Ανακρέοντα Καναβάκη.

Those are really handsome brochure. Beautiful design and laser colors. I’m listening to a lecture on early medieval history and in the lecture I listened to on the way home yesterday, one of the rulers in Al Andaluz in the middle of the 11th century put a bowl of mercury in the middle of a room and when dignitaries would visit, he would have a subject gently touch the bowl of mercury and the reflections from the light bouncing off of the mercury looked like lighting striking the walls all around, which greatly impressed his visitors. The professor said it was like a very early laser light show.

That is really interesting, maybe a little dangerous too with the mercury, but I’d love to see it.

It would be cool to see. I don’t think they knew about mad hatters in the 11th century. Although cinnabar miners probably went mad.
