One more from the series of sketches I call “collateral …acquisitions”, as they were usually produced while speaking on the phone or thinking of ideas for a client.

Αλλο ένα από τα σκίτσα που ονομάζω “παράπλευρα …αποκτήματα”, τα οποία συνήθως γινόντουσαν την ώρα ενός τηλεφωνήματος, ή καθώς ετοιμαζόταν η ιδέα για κάποιον πελάτη.

This is a phenomenal sketch. First it brings to mind a person being crushed under debt reaching for any cents he can gather. 39 has all kinds symbolism related to it including 3 X 13 as the “punishment carried out upon oneself or administered by others.” 419 can signify changes in the flow of life. 415 can symbolize rules, legality, righteousness, and judgment. 728 can signify a down payment.

It’s just simply a fantastic illustration. Whenever you put numbers in illustrations all kinds of things happen. Your dad was truly inspired and perhaps divinely guided on No comment #2.

I’ve noticed that sometimes when you create something without thinking about it, it comes out more inspired and focused.
